Update

The youngsters ( hopefully ) are over the dreaded virus and by the way they have been exercising this past week would suggest so . They are ranging the countryside for up to 3 hours and i personally witnessed them over Ramore Head ( Portrush ) heading towards Portstewart  along the coast before turning and heading back towards the lofts . We are hoping to start training this weekend , weather permitting . The youngsters have been in the transporter a couple of times and released at the lofts just to get them used to it .

Another top result

Congratulations to Larkin Bros on  winning First open NIPA 5 Bird Fermoy to further enhance the opposition that competes in the NCC . The youngsters are now enjoying this fine spell of weather we are experiencing and are now flying freely for up to 1 hour before alighting . They are then left on open loft and they continuously strike off in different batches and explore their surroundings .

Congratulations to Ivan & Stephen Parkes on winning  First open INFC Skibbereen inland national . Ivan & Stephen are 1/2 of the partnership of Parkes Bros & Sons who have been competing with the NCC from our inception . Another patron of ours J J Hurley was 1,2 and 4  South Sect in the same race highlighting again the quality of opposition here at the NCC .

Update and Congratulations

Congratulations to Glen Smith on winning 1st open NIPA  Talbenny  734 /11384 . Glen is one half of the Cookstown Sizzlers partnership , past winners of  NCC final and WDW final and loyal supporters of our venture . This is another top perfomance from one of our patrons which emphasises the quality  of the opposition that competes in the NCC . All the youngsters have the free run of all the sections now and things are progressing well . Exercise is continuing  daily and they are looking well .

Update and Congratulations

We would like to extend our congratulations to Jim Branniff ( Shalimar Lofts ) on winning the Ulster Fed O/B Championship from Skibbereen on Saturday and also to Karl Murphy and Glen Smith ( Cookstown Sizzlers ) on their top performances from Rosscarbery and Roscrea . The loft is closed for entries and everything is in full swing at the lofts with the youngsters enjoying their freedom daily and exercising freely .

Update

With only one week until our closing date for 2016 entries we are very close to our target for entries . We will publish a full entry list asap after 30 th april . The youngsters are enjoying their daily freedom with some of them exercising freely around the lofts and others just flipping about and exploring their surroundings . They are in excellent condition with healthy appetites . We still have some of our ventures to photograph and put on site and this should be addressed this incoming week .

Our entries has reached the 500 mark with plenty more still to come until our final entry date of April 30th .  The youngsters are enjoying their freedom around the lofts ( weather permitting ) on a daily basis and are progressing well . Today Liam Hayes  ( Suaimhneas Lofts ) brought his entries to the lofts . Liam who lives beside Shannon Airport in County Clare undertakes an 11 hour round trip to bring his entries to NCC and he kindly solved a problem for us concerning the internet which we could not get to the bottom of .  Thanks Liam your help was much appreciated . Entries are arriving daily and the lofts are filling up nicely . The youngsters themselves are in excellent condition and  progressing well . Happy Easter everyone . Sean and Willie .
