Sire ,son of their super breeder Rhino via Jeff Greenway when paired to a daughter of Bear Hercules breeder of 30 plus 1sts Dam is from Sheldon Leonard and is  direct off Lou Wouters super breeding couple via Andre Roodhoofts old Hofkens lines .

Hotspot 1 will go ahead tomorrow from Armagh . We hope to liberate at 9 am , weather permitting . A basket list will be published on training and basket lists later this evening . Good luck to all competing .

Hotspot 1 will take place on Sunday 31st  from Armagh 54 miles , weather permitting . We hope to have Hotspot 2 on Wed and then get back on schedule on Sunday 7th August .

Update

The youngsters ( hopefully ) are over the dreaded virus and by the way they have been exercising this past week would suggest so . They are ranging the countryside for up to 3 hours and i personally witnessed them over Ramore Head ( Portrush ) heading towards Portstewart  along the coast before turning and heading back towards the lofts . We are hoping to start training this weekend , weather permitting . The youngsters have been in the transporter a couple of times and released at the lofts just to get them used to it .

Another top result

Congratulations to Larkin Bros on  winning First open NIPA 5 Bird Fermoy to further enhance the opposition that competes in the NCC . The youngsters are now enjoying this fine spell of weather we are experiencing and are now flying freely for up to 1 hour before alighting . They are then left on open loft and they continuously strike off in different batches and explore their surroundings .

Ivan & Stephen are 1/2 of the partnership of Parkes Bros & Sons who have been competing with the NCC from our inception . Another patron of ours J J Hurley was 1,2 and 4  South Sect in the same race highlighting again the quality of opposition here at the NCC .

Update and Congratulations

Congratulations to Glen Smith on winning 1st open NIPA  Talbenny  734 /11384 . Glen is one half of the Cookstown Sizzlers partnership , past winners of  NCC final and WDW final and loyal supporters of our venture . This is another top perfomance from one of our patrons which emphasises the quality  of the opposition that competes in the NCC . All the youngsters have the free run of all the sections now and things are progressing well . Exercise is continuing  daily and they are looking well .

We would like to extend our congratulations to Jim Branniff ( Shalimar Lofts ) on winning the Ulster Fed O/B Championship from Skibbereen on Saturday and also to Karl Murphy and Glen Smith ( Cookstown Sizzlers ) on their top performances from Rosscarbery and Roscrea . The loft is closed for entries and everything is in full swing at the lofts with the youngsters enjoying their freedom daily and exercising freely .
