The North Coast Classic is now in its fourth year! In our first three years we have paid out over £73,500 in prize money!

In these three years the pools money has exceeded £25,000!

All our prize money and pool money has been paid within 10 days.

We have SIX Hotspot races prior to the North Coast Classic Race from Cork. The six "Hot Spot" races will take place from 70, 115, 150, 175, 196, and 150 miles on consecutive Sundays.

Each week we have given prizes for the top 5 in each Hotspot race.

The final race, "The North Coast Classic", from Cork will be 265 miles.

12th February update

Another busy week for Sean & the NCC team, this week has seen the arrivals of the first entries for this years one loft race. the team of six from C. K Emmett & Sons have now settled in and Sean hopes to have them flying out this coming week. we are happy to be receiving a lot of entries from England this week and welcome Lee Bousfield (winner of Europa Classic 2011) to the North Coast Classic. A polite reminder that all entries must be accompanied by transfer & pedigree forms.

8th February update

Myself and Sean was out on Wednesday night collecting the first of this years entries for the loft, the 6 team will be entered under syndicate name Eileen's Team and have come from C. K Emmett & Sons from Dublin. Good luck Spike.

Many thanks for all this years entries so far and if you haven't already reserved you perch space this year please be quick in doing so as you don't want to miss this years big race from North Coast Classic.

2nd February update

Hey guys, another busy week at the loft with lots going on for Sean and the team. the loft is looking like new again and you can expect a video diary on a weekly basis posted right here on the news page just as soon as the Birds are in. Entry forms are coming in on a daily basis and I can say a lot of new comers are entering this year, that is fantastic to see. I am going to test the live stream this weekend so you will be able to see what's going on at the loft, so keep an eye on the home page for that. feedback on quality and cam positioning is welcomed and we invite any suggestions or ideas you may have for us. you can e mail us on the normal e mail address, northcoastclassic@live.com or you can get me direct on, phillip.burrell@northcoastclassic.co.uk.

31st January update (Venture News)

We are looking forward to welcoming a small but select draught of Venture's from the well known & successful Telford Bro's, the fine selections are Soontjen's via Colin Gibson and The Bird's will be arriving in early March. All this years Venture's will appear on our Venture page of the site and all relevant information including pedigree's will be available along with a picture for you to pick your selection.

30th January update

A great weekend for the N.C.C team, first off we received our prize money for our 2nd,,25th,,41st in the Europa Classic race of 2011, and secondly Liverpool beat Man Utd!!!!!! GREAT WEEKEND!!!

23rd January 2012 update

Blackpool was a tremendous success and all the boy's had a great time at the BHW Show of the year.

The guys met up with Fanciers from all over Europe and a lot of interest was generated for our North Coast Classic 2012.

We will now be working extremely hard to ensure everything is all in place for this year's big Race!

22nd January 2012 Blackpool update,

The North Coast Classic boys had a excellent weekend in Blackpool and had a great response and a huge amount of interest to The North Coast Classic 2012 race. A full round up will be posted when we get chance to get a meeting.

21st January 2012 Blackpool update,

The Boys arrived safely in Blackpool on friday afternoon and got straight to work, meeting up with fanciers from all around europe. they are helping out at some of the auctions and they are really enjoying everything that Blackpool has to offer. We will keep you updated with further information as soon as we hear from the team.

15th January 2012 update,

Recently Leo Flanagan and Myself traveled up to Annalong to meet up with Kevin Rooney & His Son Christopher. This is the first time meeting Kevin & Christopher and immediately they came across as wonderful people.what a beautiful set up they have, Absolutely first class. We are delighted that they are part of The North Coast Classic 2012.

This year we will be receiving a small but select draft of Ventures from their wonderful team of Pigeons.

I stand to be corrected but I believe Kevin & son are the only Loft in Northern Ireland to win Two opens on the same day, 1st Open Bude E.D.C and 1st Open Five Bird Mallow N.I.P.A.

             at the after race function held in the Lodge Hotel, Coleraine, continuing on from their usual practice of paying out pools & prize money within a week,
